“Simon says - and does!”

“The fan on my computer died, it happens. The problem was I am 64 and whilst I am not an idiot when it comes to operating computers I am not exactly a geek when it comes to fixing them. So I started to search on the web to find a replacement and rapidly became hopelessly lost. It was at that point that I stumbled across Quiet PC.

What a brilliant range of fans - didn’t help though because I still hadn’t a clue what I was looking for. So I sent a message to the tech help line. Now, I am sure most of us have done that in the past and been bitterly disappointed. Not this time. I got Simon Elliot (bless his cotton socks) who was very patient and asked all the right questions to which I gave mostly the wrong answers but he persevered and found exactly the right fan for my motherboard and PCU. It duly arrived in double quick time (did I mention I live in rural France?) and I couldn’t get it to fit.

Back to Simon to give him the bad news. He was even more patient and walked me through what I needed to do to fit it.

I now have a wonderfully quiet, fully functioning PC which, because of where I live, is essential. Thank you Quiet PC for an absolutely brilliant service, without you and Simon my PC would have been just another ornament in the loft.”
